Ever since starting using the wheel, I have been (sometimes obsessively) throwing orbs and spheres. All sizes. A friend who is a psychologist said that the sphere represents wholeness and lack of conflict, a form where we do not get “stuck”.
When I am making, I do not think much about anything, but just before I am done with a sphere, I like to embed it with an emotion, a feeling, as if sending them to the world with a gift inside…
